Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products.

Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the software development lifecycle, with a focus on sprint planning, execution, and production release. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with Software Developers, QA Testers, and Functional and Business Teams to ensure the successful delivery of our software solutions. This role requires proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

  • Lead sprint planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies using Jira and Confluence.
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure on-time delivery.

2. Execution and Coordination

  • Coordinate with Software Developers, QA Testers, Functional Analysts, and Business Teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance, and facilitate daily stand-ups to address any blockers or issues.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the agreed-upon requirements and quality standards. 

3. Production Release:

  • Manage the release process, including final testing, user acceptance, and deployment to production environments.
  • Coordinate post-release activities, including monitoring for any issues, gathering feedback, and initiating necessary fixes or updates.

4. Communication and Reporting:

  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any changes to the project plan.
  • Document and maintain all project-related information, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all team members.

5. Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously review and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and apply them to Smart Food Safe’s project management approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

⇒ Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Project anager, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

⇒ Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and process documentation.

⇒ Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate project needs, identify potential issues before they arise, and implement solutions proactively.

⇒ Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 

⇒ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

⇒ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.

⇒ Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

⇒ Preferred Qualifications:

⇒ Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus.

⇒ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the SaaS industry and an understanding of the unique challenges it presents.
